For the ladies, chiffon was famous, light and sexy then pair that with wide sleeves that drifted with the slightest gust of wind creating and an “angel like style” which became so popular in the 60’s. Men of the 60's wore heels. Chelsea boots featured a slim, ankle-high top with a wedge block heel. The boot returned heels to the fashion of men's boots, which were last seen in the 19th century. The Cuban, a well-known boots for men, have heels which gave added height, but more importantly, it gave a flash of style unlike any other shoes or boots. Although it would be considered quite short by today's standards, the mop-top style was excruciatingly long and shaggy for the days when hair was neatly cropped above the ears. It is so wonderful to explore the beauty of fashion and fame for every decade; “Fashionistas” are very creative and expressive with their personality. With this period, well-known for it's bright colors, leg revealing lengths, petticoats and girdles; chunky but sleek boots, hyper tailored designs were a must for the "in crowd" of the 1960’s Fashion.
